XRD Tubes
X-ray diffractometers (XRD) measure the diffraction of x-ray energy by molecular bonds within crystalline solids, their main purpose being the characterization of the properties of solid compounds. XRD is the quickest way to analyze the molecular information characteristic of a crystalline product.
XRD allows researchers to identify the molecular phase identity of compounds. For example, polymorphic and solvatomorphic traits are unique to crystalline phase compounds, and they are measured as constructive phase interference (reflection) of x-rays beamed against the subject molecule by the x-ray diffractometer instrument. Thermal phase transitions of a compound can be obtained by using variable-temperature x-ray diffraction.
